The Bosch 0445120540 is a fuel injector especially designed for the Detroit Diesel – DD15 engine. The DD15 engine is different from other traditional engines in that it does not pressurize the entire fuel rail. Rather, it keeps the pressure at around 13000 psi. The specialized injector multiplies this pressure at the exact point when the fuel leaves the injector tip.
